We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in Columbus, Ohio. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift safely and efficiently to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This role is crucial to our daily logistics operations and ensures the smooth flow of goods within the warehouse. You will be expected to perform pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure safety and functionality. Adherence to all safety regulations and company policies is paramount. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate various types of forklifts to move materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers.
- Stack and retrieve materials from racking systems.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklift equipment and report any issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with inventory counts and record keeping.
- Follow all **Safety** protocols and guidelines.
- Wear appropriate **PPE** at all times.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient **Logistics**.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift certification.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding of **Logistics** and warehouse operations.
- Excellent **Safety** record.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to wear required **PPE**.
