Become a crucial part of our operations as a Distribution Center Associate in Houston, Texas! We are looking for dedicated individuals to perform a wide range of tasks within our state-of-the-art distribution center. Your duties will include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders with speed and accuracy, and managing inventory. This role is fundamental to the smooth functioning of our logistics network, ensuring products reach their destinations efficiently. A strong commitment to safety, including the correct use of PPE, is expected at all times to maintain a secure and productive work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and put away incoming inventory.
- Pick and pack orders accurately for shipment.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist in maintaining accurate stock levels.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, as trained.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols, including proper use of PPE.
- Participate in team efforts to achieve operational goals.
- Involves significant lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Capability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Willingness to comply with all safety regulations and wear required PPE.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
