About
Join our fast-paced logistics team as a Forklift Operator in Provo, Utah! We are looking for experienced and safety-conscious individuals to operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the efficient and safe movement of goods within our distribution center, contributing directly to our supply chain operations. You will be responsible for inspecting equipment before and after use, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and adhering to all company safety policies. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. We emphasize a strong commitment to Safety and provide all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Regular tasks may involve moderate Lifting of items up to 50 lbs. As a Forklift Operator, you are a crucial link in our logistics network, ensuring timely and accurate inventory management. Your dedication to operational excellence will be highly valued. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other powered equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
- Move materials to and from storage areas and production lines.
- Conduct daily inspections of equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S principles.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Follow all Safety guidelines and wear provided PPE.
- Must be capable of moderate Lifting.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification or proven experience.
- At least 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Ability to work flexible hours and shifts.
- Strong commitment to Safety and awareness of material handling hazards.
