We are looking for a reliable Order Picker to join our logistics team in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This position is critical for ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently. You will be tasked with locating specific items within our warehouse using pick lists or scanners, retrieving them, and preparing them for the packing process. A strong focus on accuracy and speed is essential for success in this role. Your work directly contributes to our company's reputation for timely delivery. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from designated warehouse locations based on order details.
- Utilize scanning equipment to track picked items.
- Verify product codes and quantities for order accuracy.
- Stage picked items for the packing station.
- Maintain a clean and organized picking area.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or damaged items to a supervisor.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as directed.
- Adhere to all company Safety guidelines and procedures.
- Wear required PPE at all times.
- Contribute to the overall effectiveness of our logistics chain.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous order picking or warehouse experience is preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Capable of Lifting and moving products up to 35 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics.
- Commitment to maintaining a Safe work environment.
