Our dynamic Distribution Center in Tampa, Florida, is seeking dedicated Distribution Center Associates to join our expanding team. This role is integral to our success, focusing on the efficient handling of goods from receipt to shipment. You will be involved in various warehouse activities, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and staging orders. We foster a culture of safety, providing all necessary PPE and comprehensive training on safe practices. This position offers a stable work environment and the chance to grow within our logistics operations.Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming inventory.
- Store merchandise in designated warehouse locations, maintaining organization.
- Pick and pack customer orders with speed and accuracy.
- Prepare shipments for delivery, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Operate material handling equipment safely, including pallet jacks and potentially forklifts (if certified).
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Follow proper lifting techniques and manual handling guidelines.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counting.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area to support logistics efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to wear appropriate PPE.
- Understanding of basic logistics and supply chain principles is a plus.
