In this role, you will be responsible for both picking items accurately from inventory and carefully packing them into appropriate shipping containers. - Accurately pick items based on order specifications.
- Inspect picked items for damage or defects.
- Select appropriate packaging materials and pack items securely for shipment.
- Apply shipping labels and documentation accurately.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized packing station.
- Contribute to inventory accuracy by reporting any discrepancies.
- Adhere to all company safety guidelines and procedures.
- Previous experience as a picker or packer is beneficial.
- Ability to handle lifting of up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Must be able to stand, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Familiarity with shipping procedures is a plus.
- Willingness to wear appropriate PPE.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Understanding of warehouse and logistics operations.
