Join our dynamic logistics team in Salt Lake City, Utah, as a Warehouse Worker. This role is fundamental to the efficient operation of our distribution center. You will be involved in a variety of tasks, including receiving and stocking incoming inventory, picking and packing orders, and preparing shipments for dispatch. The ideal candidate is a team player, reliable, and committed to maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment. Your efforts will directly support our supply chain, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods. A proactive approach to tasks and adherence to safety protocols are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Stock and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders accurately according to customer requirements.
- Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification may be required for some).
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, adhering to 5S principles.
- Follow all safety regulations and utilize appropriate PPE at all times.
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counts.
- Be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs frequently.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and basic logistics.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced setting.
- Good physical condition and stamina to perform manual tasks.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and teamwork.
- Ability to operate basic warehouse equipment.
