Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment, including conveyor systems, forklifts, and automated machinery.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues to minimize operational disruptions.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure all equipment complies with safety standards.
- Install and commission new equipment as required.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of spare parts.
- Implement preventative maintenance programs to reduce equipment failure.
- Ensure proper usage and storage of tools and equipment.
- Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times while performing duties.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Support the logistics team with technical expertise to ensure seamless operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED; technical certification in a relevant field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a warehouse technician or in a similar maintenance role.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic skills.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing various types of warehouse machinery.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Must be able to handle moderate Lifting and operate various tools.
- Familiarity with logistics and supply chain processes is beneficial.
