We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in Tampa, Florida. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
- Implement and manage inventory control procedures and best practices.
- Track and manage stock levels, ensuring adequate supply while minimizing excess inventory.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement in our logistics processes.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, adhering to all Safety guidelines.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of all inventory items.
- Collaborate with the receiving and shipping departments to reconcile stock movements.
- Utilize the Warehouse Management System (WMS) for all inventory transactions and reporting.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is a plus.
- Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a similar role.
- Proficiency with WMS software and inventory management techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including Lifting up to 40 lbs, and work in a warehouse setting.
- Knowledge of Safety protocols and procedures.
- Experience operating forklifts or other warehouse machinery is beneficial.
- Must wear appropriate PPE as required for warehouse operations.
- Commitment to maintaining a secure and organized inventory.
