About
We are looking for a skilled Material Handler to join our state-of-the-art facility in Madison, Wisconsin. This position is critical for the efficient flow of materials within our warehouse and plays a key role in our overall logistics network. Responsibilities include loading and unloading materials, transporting items to and from various departments, organizing inventory, and ensuring materials are readily available for production or shipping. Safety is our highest priority; all Material Handlers must strictly adhere to company safety policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and operate all machinery safely. This role requires significant physical effort, including frequent heavy lifting (up to 60 lbs) and the operation of forklifts, pallet jacks, and other powered equipment. Previous experience with material handling equipment is highly preferred. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated storage areas.
- Perform regular cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy.
- Ensure all materials are handled according to safety regulations.
- Wear and maintain appropriate PPE at all times.
- Perform frequent lifting of heavy items, up to 60 lbs.
- Support all aspects of our logistics and supply chain operations.
