Are you a certified and experienced Forklift Operator seeking a challenging opportunity in Atlanta, Georgia? We are looking for a safety-conscious individual to join our dynamic **logistics** team. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a critical role in the movement of goods within our distribution center, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in all operations. Responsibilities include operating forklifts to load and unload trucks, move inventory, and support order fulfillment. Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of forklifts safely and efficiently to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring accurate placement and securing of goods.
- Transport inventory to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance checks on forklifts.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stocktaking.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to **safety** standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow.
- Wear and maintain required **PPE** at all times.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current, valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience (1-3 years) as a Forklift Operator in a warehouse environment.
- Knowledge of warehouse **logistics** and material handling best practices.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including **lifting** up to 50 pounds when necessary.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Demonstrated commitment to **safety** and accident prevention.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
