We are recruiting for a Distribution Center Associate in Omaha, Nebraska! This role is fundamental to the smooth operation of our logistics network. You will be involved in various aspects of warehouse management, ensuring that goods are processed, stored, and dispatched efficiently and accurately. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Sort, organize, and stock merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders for shipment with high accuracy.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Conduct inventory counts and assist with stocktaking.
- Identify and report any damaged goods or operational discrepancies.
- Assist with loading trucks for outgoing shipments.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and productivity of the distribution center and logistics operations.
Qualifications:
Must be able to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, walking, and bending for extended periods. A strong commitment to safety and understanding the importance of PPE is essential. Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is preferred. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills and attention to detail are necessary. Familiarity with basic logistics procedures is beneficial. Reliability and punctuality are required.
