About
Join our growing team as a Picker/Packer in our state-of-the-art facility in Phoenix, Arizona. In this essential role, you will be responsible for accurately picking items from warehouse shelves and preparing them for shipment. This involves using handheld scanners to locate products, confirming item details, and ensuring orders are complete. You will then meticulously package items, ensuring they are protected during transit and that all shipping labels are correctly applied. Safety is paramount in our operations, and all team members are required to use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow all established safety guidelines to prevent accidents. This position demands attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to efficiency in a fast-paced logistics environment. We value teamwork and encourage a positive work atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack orders according to specified requirements.
- Use RF scanners and other warehouse equipment to locate and track inventory.
- Verify product information against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Package items securely and efficiently to prevent damage during shipping.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Contribute to meeting daily picking and packing targets.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse setting is advantageous.
- Ability to work with speed and accuracy.
- Proficiency in basic math and reading comprehension.
- Capability of Lifting and moving items weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices and Logistics principles.
