About
We are looking for motivated Picker/Packers to join our dynamic logistics team in Portland, Oregon. In this essential role, you will be responsible for accurately fulfilling customer orders by picking products from warehouse shelves and preparing them for shipment. Key duties include using order sheets or scanning devices to locate items, ensuring correct quantities and product identification, and carefully packing items to prevent damage during transit. Maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency is critical to our operations. We are committed to providing a safe working environment, and all team members must follow strict safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). This position requires you to be active throughout your shift, involving standing, walking, reaching, and bending, as well as the ability to perform regular lifting of up to 50 pounds. A positive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are essential. Experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is a plus. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items based on order forms or scanner data.
- Verify product codes and quantities for accuracy.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Inspect products for defects before packing.
- Maintain an organized and clean work station.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety guidelines and use PPE.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts.
- Contribute to meeting daily shipping targets.
- Perform other warehouse tasks as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Capacity for lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and basic logistics.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
