About
We are looking for an efficient and accurate Picker/Packer to join our Fort Worth, Texas distribution center. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items for customer orders and then carefully packaging them for shipment, playing a key part in our logistics chain. You'll utilize scanning technology and pick lists to gather merchandise, ensuring that order accuracy and fulfillment speed are maintained at high levels. This position demands a strong focus on detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Physical stamina is required, as the job involves frequent movement, standing for long periods, and consistent Lifting of items up to 40 lbs. Safety is paramount in our operations, and adherence to all Safety protocols and the correct use of PPE is mandatory. The ideal candidate is organized, self-motivated, and possesses a solid understanding of warehouse procedures. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from inventory for customer orders.
- Package items securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Use RF scanners and order sheets to guide picking.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Follow all Safety procedures and guidelines.
- Wear required PPE consistently.
- Meet performance targets for picking and packing accuracy and speed.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role.
- Ability to perform frequent Lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety practices.
- Familiarity with Logistics operations.
