- Prepare shipping documentation, including bills of lading, shipping labels, and manifests.
- Coordinate with carriers for pickup and delivery schedules.
- Verify that all outgoing shipments match order details and are properly packed.
- Operate shipping software and systems to track shipments and manage inventory flow.
- Communicate with customers and internal departments regarding shipment status.
- Maintain a clean and organized shipping area.
- Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations and company policies.
- Adhere to all safety procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed to support logistics operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or a related logistics role is preferred.
- Proficiency in using shipping software and common office applications.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Ability to perform light to moderate Lifting, up to 30 lbs.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of shipping logistics and documentation requirements.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to PPE guidelines.
