- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on warehouse equipment, including forklifts, conveyor belts, and automated systems.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in a timely manner.
- Ensure all equipment is operating safely and efficiently, adhering to manufacturer specifications and company standards.
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities.
- Operate various tools and machinery as required for repairs and installations.
- Follow all safety guidelines, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist in managing spare parts inventory.
- Support the logistics team by ensuring equipment availability.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Experience with troubleshooting and repair of various types of warehouse machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Understanding of workplace safety regulations and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when necessary.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
