We are actively recruiting for Picker/Packers to join our busy warehouse in Charlotte, North Carolina. As a Picker/Packer, you will be a key player in our order fulfillment process. Your main duties will involve accurately selecting items from our warehouse shelves based on customer orders and then carefully preparing these items for shipment. This role demands precision and a strong commitment to ensuring that orders are picked and packed correctly to meet customer expectations. You will collaborate with a dedicated team to maintain high standards of efficiency and contribute to our overall logistics success. Safety is a top priority, and adherence to all safety guidelines, including the use of appropriate PPE, is mandatory.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick specified products from warehouse locations using pick lists or RF scanners.
- Inspect picked items for quality and accuracy.
- Pack products securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping boxes or containers.
- Apply shipping labels and any necessary documentation to packages.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and guidelines, including the use of provided PPE.
- Assist with inventory management tasks such as cycle counts and restocking.
- Contribute to team efforts and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, picking, or packing role is beneficial.
- Ability to read and interpret order forms and instructions.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Ability to perform lifting of up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Familiarity with basic logistics concepts is an advantage.
- Dedication to maintaining a safe workplace and following safety protocols.
