Opportunity for a Material Handler in Huntsville, Alabama! We are looking for a robust and safety-conscious individual to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for the movement, storage, and organization of materials throughout our facility. Your contribution is essential to our logistics operations. You must be committed to upholding stringent safety standards, including the correct use of PPE and adherence to all lifting protocols. This position involves substantial physical exertion, including regular lifting of items up to and over 50 lbs. Experience with material handling equipment is a strong asset. Your duties will encompass:
- Efficiently receiving and checking incoming materials for accuracy and damage.
- Storing materials in designated areas, maintaining organized inventory.
- Retrieving and delivering materials as required for production or shipping.
- Safe operation of forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling machinery.
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
- Ensuring the warehouse is kept clean, tidy, and safe.
- Following all company safety regulations and best practices.
- Wearing and utilizing all mandated PPE.
- Regularly performing heavy lifting tasks.
- Participating in inventory management processes.
- Supporting the seamless flow of goods within our logistics network.
