Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of material handling equipment, including forklifts.
- Load and unload trucks and containers accurately and efficiently.
- Move, sort, and store materials within the warehouse.
- Maintain inventory records and assist with stocktaking.
- Conduct daily equipment checks and report any defects.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and use provided PPE.
- Employ proper lifting techniques to ensure personal and co-worker safety.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 70 lbs.
- Solid understanding of warehouse safety regulations and procedures.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Familiarity with logistics and supply chain operations is a plus.
- Commitment to safety and best practices in lifting and material handling.
