Job Summary:
Are you an analytical and detail-oriented professional? We have an exciting opening for an Inventory Control Specialist in Los Angeles, California. This pivotal role is responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. You will conduct regular cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and implement measures to prevent stockouts and overstock situations. Your expertise will be crucial in optimizing inventory levels, reducing waste, and ensuring that our logistics operations run smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of inventory management systems. Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies promptly.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Implement procedures to minimize inventory shrinkage and damage.
  • Coordinate with receiving, shipping, and production teams to ensure accurate inventory flow.
  • Develop and maintain inventory control policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and proper use of PPE.
  • Assist in training staff on inventory control best practices.
  • Optimize warehouse layout for efficient inventory storage and retrieval.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in inventory control or a related warehouse role.
  • Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 30 lbs.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and proper PPE usage.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
