We are seeking dedicated Distribution Center Associates to join our busy facility in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This role is fundamental to the efficient operation of our logistics network, involving a variety of tasks related to receiving, stocking, order fulfillment, and shipping. As a Distribution Center Associate, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our products are handled with care and delivered accurately to our customers. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and accurately document incoming shipments.
- Stock merchandise in designated warehouse locations, adhering to FIFO principles.
- Pick and pack customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists, ensuring high accuracy.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling and staging for carriers.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, following all company guidelines.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and participate in physical inventories to ensure stock accuracy.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and contribute to a positive logistics workflow.
- Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or logistics environment is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Proficiency in operating RF scanners and other warehouse technology is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Understanding of safety protocols and the importance of PPE.
