About
We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented Order Pickers to join our warehouse team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders, directly impacting our logistics and customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for accurately picking items from shelves, verifying quantities, and preparing them for shipment. This is a physically active role in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately select and gather products from warehouse shelves based on customer orders, utilizing RF scanners and pick lists.
- Verify product codes, descriptions, and quantities to ensure order accuracy and minimize errors.
- Pack items securely and appropriately to prevent damage during transit, using correct packaging materials.
- Operate manual and electric pallet jacks safely to move items throughout the warehouse.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring aisles are clear and stock is properly positioned.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of appropriate PPE.
- Report any inventory discrepancies, damaged goods, or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
- Meet or exceed established productivity and quality standards for order picking.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and assist with other warehouse tasks as needed.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics department through effective teamwork and communication.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is highly desirable.
- Ability to read and interpret order documents and system-generated information.
- Proficiency with RF scanning technology is a significant advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 40 lbs consistently.
- Willingness to work in a dynamic, fast-paced warehouse setting and follow all safety guidelines.
- Familiarity with basic logistics principles.
