This role is fundamental to the efficient operation of our distribution center, ensuring that all goods are handled, stored, and dispatched with precision. As a Warehouse Associate, you will perform a wide range of duties including receiving, put-away, order picking, packing, and shipping. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to following established safety protocols, including the correct usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming inventory, verifying against purchase orders.
- Accurately pick and pack orders for shipment.
- Store inventory in designated locations, ensuring proper stock rotation.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse.
- Assist in loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
- Follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Contribute to maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is beneficial.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to PPE protocols.
