Job Summary:
Join our innovative logistics team as an Inventory Control Specialist in Las Vegas, Nevada. This vital role ensures the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of our warehouse inventory. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining robust inventory control procedures, conducting regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring that our stock levels are precisely managed. This position requires a sharp analytical mind, meticulous attention to detail, and a strong understanding of inventory management systems. You will collaborate with various departments, including receiving, shipping, and operations, to resolve inventory issues and optimize stock rotation. A commitment to safety and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is paramount. The ideal candidate will be proficient in inventory software and possess a solid grasp of warehouse logistics.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures.
  • Monitor stock levels and identify potential overstock or stockout situations.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve inventory-related issues.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines, including the correct use of PPE, and promote a culture of safety.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
  • Proficiency in WMS and inventory management software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to perform tasks requiring moderate physical exertion and occasional lifting.
  • Knowledge of logistics and supply chain principles.
