Join the dynamic Florida office of Littleton Joyce Ughetta & Kelly LLP, a law firm with over 20 attorneys and offices in six states servicing a national and diverse complex litigation practice! We are seeking an enthusiastic associate who wants to advance, become a well-rounded trial lawyer in a collegial law firm, and take advantage of the incredible opportunities our firm offers. EOE
Responsibilities include:
· Working directly with lead trial counsel on catastrophic cases
· Mentoring with senior partners who want you to advance and succeed in the
practice and business of law
· Pleadings and discovery
· Attending court conferences, hearings and trials
· Taking and defending fact and expert depositions
· Performing legal research and drafting motion and briefs
The ideal candidate will have:
· Excellent research, writing, and organizational skills
· 2-5 years of litigation experience (at a law firm, for a government legal department, or clerking for a judge). Products liability experience preferred.
· Admission to the Florida Bar with active license
· Capacity to work from the firm’s Brevard County office
Pay: $80,270.54 - $96,669.90 per year
Work Location: In person
