You as a Payroll Administrator will: 

  • Assist in processing timesheets and producing direct deposits for a large number of employees biweekly and weekly.

  • Process new hires and terminations for all pay groups

  • Prepare monthly union reports and remit payments to the union

  • Process wage increases as indicated on union schedules.

  • Respond to Government inquiries in a professional manner and produce letters of employment.

  • Support accounting functions in regard to payroll and employee cost allocation as well as vacation balance reconciliations.

  • Prepare HOOPP monthly pension remittances

  • Able to lead site training support as needed.

Is this the right role for you?

  • You have 2+ years of payroll administration experience.

  • You have union experience. CUPE, SEIU, UNIFOR and Teamsters experience is an asset.

  • Quebec payroll experience is an asset

  • You have or will work toward your Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) certification.

  • You are able to research payroll compliance matters and read and interpret collective bargaining agreements.

  • You are a well-organized and detail oriented individual able to work as part of a team in a dynamic fast paced environment.

  • You can work at the office in-person located in London, ON. This is a fully in office position.
