We are hiring for Picker/Packer positions at our Cincinnati, Ohio warehouse. This role is crucial for our daily logistics operations, ensuring that customer orders are picked accurately and packed securely for shipment. You will be responsible for navigating the warehouse to retrieve items, verifying order details, and preparing products for transit. The ideal candidate is reliable, has a good eye for detail, and can work effectively in a fast-paced environment. We emphasize a safe and productive workplace and provide all necessary PPE.
Responsibilities:
- Locate and retrieve items from warehouse shelves according to order specifications.
- Verify product information and quantities against customer orders.
- Inspect items for damage prior to packing.
- Select appropriate packing materials and ensure items are securely packaged.
- Apply shipping labels accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the work area.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and hand trucks as required.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and wear required PPE.
- Contribute to meeting team productivity targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a picking or packing role is advantageous.
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team or independently.
- Familiarity with basic warehouse and logistics principles.
- Dedication to following safety guidelines and wearing PPE.
