Job Summary:
We are seeking a robust Material Handler for our Baltimore, Maryland warehouse. This role is integral to our logistics operations, focusing on the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout the facility. You will be responsible for operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to load and unload trucks, move inventory, and support picking and packing activities. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, possesses relevant equipment certifications, and has experience in a high-volume warehouse setting. Strong physical stamina and a commitment to following safety procedures are essential.
Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks to move materials efficiently.
  • Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper placement and securing of goods.
  • Transport materials to and from various warehouse locations, including receiving, storage, and shipping docks.
  • Assist in order picking and replenishment activities as needed.
  • Perform pre-operation checks on all equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
  • Participate in inventory management tasks and cycle counts.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid forklift operator certification preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Material Handler or similar role in a warehouse.
  • Ability to operate various types of warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Experience with lifting and moving heavy objects, up to 75 lbs.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse safety regulations and logistics flow.
  • Excellent physical condition and stamina.
  • Commitment to wearing PPE and adhering to safety protocols.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
