Join our team as a skilled Forklift Operator in our busy Dallas, Texas distribution center. We need a certified and experienced individual who can safely and efficiently move materials throughout our facility. This role is critical for the smooth operation of our warehouse, supporting receiving, put-away, and order fulfillment processes. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of safe forklift operation, a strong understanding of warehouse **logistics**, and a commitment to maintaining a secure working environment. Your expertise will ensure that our inventory is handled correctly, minimizing damage and maximizing operational efficiency. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) to move, stack, and unstack pallets of goods.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers with inbound and outbound shipments.
- Transport materials to and from designated storage areas.
- Perform pre-operation inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance needs.
- Assist with inventory management, including put-away and retrieval.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere strictly to all **safety** regulations and company policies.
- Ensure proper use of required **PPE** at all times.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Proven ability to safely handle and transport materials.
- Understanding of warehouse **logistics** and inventory flow.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including **lifting** up to 50 pounds when necessary.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to **safety**.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
