Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our team in Washington, D.C. This role is crucial for the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse, supporting various functions from receiving to shipping. The Warehouse Associate will handle materials, maintain inventory, and ensure a safe and organized work environment. Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and stock incoming inventory.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing orders for shipment.
  • Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks, as needed and after proper training.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through proper storage and record-keeping.
  • Assist with regular inventory counts and cycle counts.
  • Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards.
  • Adhere to all company Safety guidelines and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Identify and report any damaged goods or safety concerns to supervisors.
  • Contribute to team goals and assist colleagues as needed.
  • Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous warehouse or general labor experience is preferred.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing for long hours, bending, and Lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Understanding of basic warehouse operations and logistics.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
