About
Our Dallas, Texas facility is looking for a diligent and organized Inventory Clerk to join our logistics team. This role is critical for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. As an Inventory Clerk, you will be responsible for tracking stock levels, conducting physical counts, reconciling discrepancies, and maintaining detailed inventory records. Your work will directly impact the efficiency of our supply chain and ensure that our operations run smoothly. We are committed to providing a safe working environment, and adherence to safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is paramount. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent data entry skills, and a meticulous approach to record-keeping. Experience with inventory management software and a basic understanding of warehouse logistics are highly desirable. Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate inventory records through regular data entry and system updates.
- Conduct physical inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Organize and manage stockroom supplies and materials.
- Prepare inventory reports for management.
- Assist with receiving and put-away processes as needed.
- Ensure proper labeling and storage of inventory items.
- Follow all safety guidelines and use appropriate PPE.
- Support the logistics team with inventory-related tasks.
- Participate in regular inventory audits.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Experience with inventory management software preferred.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory control principles.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and the use of PPE.
