About
Our Omaha, Nebraska facility is seeking a proactive and experienced Inventory Control Specialist to manage and maintain the accuracy of our warehouse stock. This critical role ensures the integrity of our inventory data, which is essential for efficient logistics and operations. You will be responsible for conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, implementing stock control procedures, and reconciling inventory records. Strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of warehouse management systems are key to success in this position. You will work closely with warehouse associates and management to ensure proper storage, rotation, and handling of goods. While much of the role is analytical, you may be required to perform some physical tasks, including occasional Lifting of items up to 30 lbs. Adherence to all Safety guidelines and the proper use of PPE are non-negotiable. Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures.
- Reconcile inventory records with actual stock levels.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Ensure proper stock rotation and organization.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff on inventory-related issues.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and use appropriate PPE.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in inventory control or management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting (up to 30 lbs) as needed.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to Safety.
- Knowledge of Logistics and supply chain principles.
