Our growing **logistics** company in Columbus, Ohio is searching for a diligent Material Handler. As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in the movement and organization of materials within our warehouse. Your primary duties will involve operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport goods, loading and unloading trucks, and ensuring materials are stored correctly and safely. A strong commitment to workplace **safety** is essential; you will be required to use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adhere to all operational guidelines. This role demands physical capability, including consistent **lifting** of items weighing up to 60 lbs, as well as standing, bending, and operating machinery. The ideal candidate will be reliable, possess excellent hand-eye coordination, and have a keen awareness of their surroundings. Forklift certification is highly preferred, and prior experience operating warehouse equipment is a significant advantage. Responsibilities include: Safely operating forklifts and other equipment, moving raw materials and finished goods, loading and unloading delivery vehicles, organizing and stocking inventory, performing routine equipment checks, and assisting with general warehouse tasks as needed.
