Job Summary:
Our facility in Charlotte, North Carolina is seeking a reliable Material Handler! You will be instrumental in the smooth operation of our warehouse by managing the movement and organization of materials. Key duties include loading and unloading inbound and outbound shipments, operating material handling equipment, and maintaining accurate inventory counts. This role is a cornerstone of our logistics process, ensuring that materials are efficiently managed from entry to exit. We require individuals who are safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and capable of working productively in a fast-paced environment.   • Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments.
  • Load outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy and proper securing of goods.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through diligent data entry and stock management.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counts.
  • Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
  • Adhere to all company policies, especially those concerning safety and the proper use of PPE.
  • Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned to support overall logistics operations.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment is required.
  • Certification as a forklift operator is a plus.
  • Ability to perform heavy Lifting, up to 70 lbs.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems is beneficial.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and physically demanding environment.
  • Commitment to a safe work ethic and teamwork.
