About
We are looking for a dedicated Fulfillment Associate to join our bustling warehouse in Chicago, Illinois. As a Fulfillment Associate, you will be at the forefront of our order processing and distribution operations. Your responsibilities will include accurately picking and packing orders, preparing items for shipment, and ensuring inventory accuracy. This role is crucial for ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient and error-free fulfillment. You will work collaboratively with a team of professionals in a fast-paced logistics environment. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety are essential. We expect all team members to diligently follow safety procedures and utilize required PPE.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations according to order specifications.
- Inspect items for damage or defects prior to packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Apply shipping labels and any required documentation to packages.
- Process incoming inventory and ensure proper storage.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including mandatory PPE usage.
- Participate in inventory counts and assist with stock management.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily fulfillment targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in warehouse, fulfillment, or logistics is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret order forms and instructions accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Ability to perform lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Understanding of order fulfillment and logistics processes.
- Dedication to maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to safety protocols.
