About

As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating a forklift safely and efficiently to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This role requires attention to detail, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be interacting with other warehouse staff and management, ensuring accurate inventory counts and timely movement of materials. Excellent communication skills are a plus. We expect our forklift operators to adhere strictly to all company safety protocols and industry best practices. This includes wearing the required PPE at all times. Regular maintenance checks on the forklift equipment are also a part of the daily routine to ensure operational readiness and prevent accidents. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of safe operation and a desire to contribute to a productive team. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move pallets, materials, and finished goods.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently.
- Perform daily inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance issues.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification or willingness to obtain one.
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
