Join our dynamic team as a Picker/Packer in the heart of New York City! We are seeking motivated individuals to accurately pick and pack orders for shipment. This role is crucial to our logistics operations, ensuring our customers receive their items quickly and correctly. You will be responsible for navigating the warehouse using scanning technology, locating products, and preparing them for dispatch. Strong attention to detail is a must as you'll be verifying order accuracy. This is a fast-paced environment where efficiency and precision are highly valued. We are committed to workplace safety and require all employees to adhere to strict safety protocols and utilize appropriate PPE. Regular lifting of items up to 50 lbs will be part of your daily duties. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow within the logistics industry. Responsibilities include:
- Accurately picking customer orders using RF scanners or other designated equipment.
- Packing items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Verifying product codes and quantities against order slips.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Collaborating with team members to meet daily picking and packing targets.
- Assisting with inventory checks as needed.
- Understanding and following all lifting guidelines to prevent injury.
- Contributing to the overall success of our logistics and fulfillment operations.
