We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team in Des Moines, Iowa. You will be involved in receiving, stocking, order fulfillment, and shipping activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all tasks. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Stock inventory in designated locations, ensuring proper rotation and organization.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring correct labeling and packaging.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification required for forklifts).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with all company policies.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols, including the correct use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals and improve logistics processes.
- Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing for extended periods, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Proficiency in using RF scanners and other warehouse technology is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to safety guidelines.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Understanding of proper lifting techniques and the importance of safety.
