We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Warehouse Workers to join our team in Richmond, Virginia. This role involves a variety of general warehouse duties essential to the smooth operation of our distribution center. You will be involved in receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods, contributing directly to our logistics chain. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and store goods appropriately.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring safe handling of merchandise.
- Operate pallet jacks and other manual equipment for moving goods.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Assist in cycle counts and inventory checks as required.
- Prepare goods for shipment, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned by supervisors.
- Contribute to efficient logistics operations through diligent work and teamwork.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or general labor role is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Familiarity with basic warehouse equipment and safety practices.
- Understanding of the importance of safety procedures and the use of PPE.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong commitment to teamwork.
- Basic communication skills.
