Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Material Handler to join our dynamic logistics team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in the efficient flow of goods within our warehouse. Your responsibilities will include receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping materials. This position is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, enjoy a fast-paced environment, and are committed to maintaining a safe and organized workspace. Strong physical stamina and the ability to follow instructions are essential for success in this role. We are looking for individuals who are eager to learn and contribute to the overall success of our operations.
Responsibilities:
  • Unload and load trucks efficiently and safely.
  • Inspect incoming materials for damage and accuracy.
  • Sort and organize inventory according to established procedures.
  • Pick orders accurately using RF scanners or pick lists.
  • Package items securely for shipment, ensuring product protection.
  • Operate manual and powered equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work environment, adhering to 5S principles.
  • Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on Safety and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve daily productivity goals.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement in all warehouse operations.
  • Ability to perform heavy Lifting as required by the role.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is a plus.
  • Ability to perform frequent Lifting and bending.
  • Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
  • Familiarity with warehouse equipment is beneficial.
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Willingness to wear required PPE, including safety shoes and vests.
