About
We are seeking a certified and experienced Forklift Operator to join our state-of-the-art facility in Provo, Utah. In this critical role, you will be responsible for operating forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. You will play a key part in ensuring the efficient flow of goods within our warehouse, supporting both receiving and shipping operations. Safety is our highest priority; therefore, a thorough understanding and strict adherence to all safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of safe operation, excellent spatial awareness, and a strong sense of responsibility. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled operator to contribute to a leading logistics company.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks to move inventory.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
- Transport raw materials, finished goods, and other materials throughout the warehouse.
- Stack and store materials in designated racking or floor locations.
- Perform daily pre-operation inspections of forklift equipment.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and other warehouse duties as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and procedures.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring physical agility and manual dexterity.
- Experience with logistics and material handling.
- Commitment to safety and the correct use of PPE.
