About
New Age Cryo is seeking a highly skilled Fleet Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. We operate a fleet of 125+ pieces of equipment, including diesel trucks, vacuum trucks, trailers, pumps, and industrial machinery. The ideal candidate will have strong diesel engine and heavy truck repair experience, with the ability to perform both preventive maintenance and emergency repairs to keep our fleet operating safely and efficiently.
*Duties*
* Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles, including trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment.
* Conduct diagnostics to identify mechanical issues using automotive diagnostic tools.
* Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment for repairs and fabrication tasks.
* Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on each vehicle.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations while performing maintenance tasks.
* Assist in the assembly and disassembly of various equipment as needed.
* Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with team members about vehicle status and repair needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and routine repairs on company fleet (trucks, trailers, vac trucks, pumps, heavy equipment).
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, braking systems, and electrical issues.
- Handle standard maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tires, brakes, and filters.
- Maintain accurate service logs, inspection reports, and repair records.
- Provide on-call support for emergency breakdowns, including after-hours calls as needed.
- Travel once per month to Fairmont, Minnesota, to support fleet maintenance at our new branch shop.
- Ensure compliance with all DOT, OSHA, and company safety standards.
*Experience*
* - 2+ yearsβ experience as a diesel mechanic, truck technician, or fleet maintenance technician.
- CDL license required (Class A or B).
- Strong experience with heavy-duty trucks, diesel engines, hydraulics, and brakes.
- Welding and fabrication skills preferred.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is helpful but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
