About
The role of this Design Engineer will involve using 3D CAD software like Solidworks or similar. We are ideally looking for a minimum of 2 years Cad Design experience, however, we will also consider a graduate engineer if they have some hands‑on work experience to demonstrate.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
Work on collaborative projects with Sales Managers and Architects using 3D CAD to engineer solutions.
Administrate drawing office procedures such as drawing modifications, product introduction, and document control.
Produce clear and concise Engineering drawings and specifications (For composite materials, including aluminium’s and other metal fabrications, machined components and sub‑assemblies).
Design, develop, source and test prototypes before releasing to production.
Identify and select materials needed for production and potentially liaise with suppliers.
Prepare new product quotations based on standard product ranges.
Knowledge and Experience
Ideally qualified to HNC level in a design or engineering discipline. (Graduates will be considered or experienced Design Engineers / CAD Designers / Product Designers).
Experience with modern materials and knowledge of engineering or manufacturing techniques.
Use and understanding of design software, ideally Solid Works and/or Auto Cad or similar.
Experience in manufacturing/production is highly beneficial.
