We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Estimator/Contractor Sales professional to join our growing sales team. In this role, you will be the key driver in preparing accurate project estimates, developing strong client relationships, and securing new business opportunities. Your expertise will help ensure project profitability while delivering exceptional value to our clients. *Duties*
* Prepare comprehensive construction estimates by analyzing project plans, specifications, and scope of work using industry-standard software such as PlanSwift and Bluebeam.
* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to develop accurate pricing strategies that align with project goals and budget constraints.
* Conduct detailed cost analysis for materials quotes to ensure competitive yet profitable bids.
* Manage contractor relationships through effective negotiation to secure favorable terms and pricing while maintaining quality standards.
* Assist in project management activities by providing cost control insights and supporting contract administration throughout the project lifecycle.
* Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and new estimating tools to continuously improve accuracy and efficiency.
*Skills*
* Proficiency with different technology that provides a digital plan review and markup processes.
* Strong negotiation skills to effectively secure competitive pricing and favorable contract terms.
* Deep understanding of construction estimating principles, including cost control, pricing strategies, and scope analysis.
* Construction site experience to better interpret plans, specifications, and on-site conditions impacting estimates.
* Knowledge of construction management practices and contract administration processes.
* Excellent project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple bids simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $38.00 per hour
Expected hours: 45 – 52 per week
