About
Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Insight Analysts, setting high standards for analytical rigour, clarity, and actionability.
Produce and oversee the delivery of high-quality, impactful analyses and insights that directly inform and influence business decisions.
Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to proactively identify critical questions and analytical opportunities, ensuring alignment with strategic business priorities.
Embed yourself and your team within key decision‑making forums, ensuring analytics insight directly supports and enhances business strategy and operations.
Facilitate clear communication and understanding of insights across the business, ensuring analyses are intuitive, actionable, and directly linked to measurable business outcomes.
Collaborate closely with Data Engineering and the rest of Data Analytics to ensure that our Data & Analytics Platform provides the right data and tooling to enable high-quality analytical work.
Champion and promote the adoption of analytics best practices, maintaining consistent methodologies and ensuring the reliability and clarity of analytical outputs.
Embed yourself within the organisation’s data culture, supporting the growth and development of the broader analytics community.
Key Qualifications
Seasoned analytics professional with proven leadership experience managing and developing high‑performing analytical teams within the insurance industry.
Skilled in identifying, articulating, and delivering insightful, actionable analysis that directly drives business performance.
Experienced in embedding analytics within key business forums, capable of proactively influencing senior stakeholders through clear, impactful communication.
Adept at translating complex analytical concepts into clear, business‑friendly insights, enabling stakeholders to make informed decisions quickly and confidently.
Proficient with modern cloud data and analytics platforms (preferably GCP), with the ability to leverage these platforms for efficient, scalable analytics delivery.
Strong collaborator who can seamlessly integrate with various data disciplines to ensure end‑to‑end delivery of analytical solutions.
Passionate advocate for data‑driven decision‑making, committed to enhancing business literacy in analytics, fostering curiosity, and empowering colleagues to engage confidently with data insights.
Nice to Have
Experience with insurance‑specific analytics, including pricing, customer experience, claims management, underwriting, and operational efficiency.
