Scheduled Hours: 11 AM-7:30 PM
Scheduled Daily Hours: 7.5 HOURS
Pay Range: $104,000.00-$130,000.00
Responsibilities
Oversee HLA laboratory's quality assurance system that supports transplant programs.
Lead validation and implementation processes in collaboration with the HLA laboratory director.
Ensure regulatory compliance.
Provide staff training and competency assessment.
Engage in research and development activities.
Assist with lab coverage in support of deceased donor transplant programs.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree required.
3 years of laboratory training or experience in a clinical laboratory, preferably histocompatibility, immunogenetics, and/or transplantation immunology.
Certification by the American College of Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics (ACHI) as a Certified Histocompatibility Technologist (CHT) or Certified Histocompatibility Specialist (CHS) is highly preferred but not required.
Experience with document control systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Ability to lead, coach, and develop staff.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Ability to retain confidential information.
Ability to interact effectively with all levels within the organization to influence participation in development, quality, and safety related programs/activities.
Demonstrated ability to manage projects and deliver results.
Ability to implement suggestions and recommendations.
Proficiency in managing HistoTrac and/or other laboratory information systems.
Knowledge of Next Generation Sequencing is highly preferred but not required.
