Company Overview A specialist engineering design company in the Warwick area is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to support projects across multiple sectors. Our client is known for solving complex mechanical problems and delivering high‑level solutions for globally recognised manufacturers.
Role And Responsibilities
Lead mechanical design projects from concept to production, ensuring technical quality and delivery on schedule
Oversee CAD, FEA and detailed design, providing technical sign‑off
Drive project strategy, technical direction, and programme delivery across multi‑disciplinary teams
Mentor and guide junior engineers, ensuring best practices and high standards
Manage supplier and customer relationships, ensuring requirements are met and ongoing support provided
Knowledge, Skills And Experience
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering (2:1 or above), preferably a Masters or second degree
Extensive experience in mechanical design, CAD and simulation (SolidWorks, CATIA, FEA, MBD, MATLAB/Simulink)
Hand calculations and analytical validation skills
Excellent communication skills with clients, suppliers and multi‑disciplinary engineering teams
