We’re growing fast and looking for a passionate Senior Pre‑Sales Solution Architect to join our team and help shape the future of digital transformation.
This role is centred on cloud solution architecture focusing on the design of resilient cloud solutions and the scoping of projects to accelerate cloud adoption and transformation regardless of platform. You will utilise industry‑standard frameworks such as the Cloud Adoption Framework and Well‑Architected Framework to ensure that solution designs adhere to best practices for scalability, security and operational excellence. Your responsibilities will include supporting customers throughout the scoping, definition and deployment and enablement phases, guiding them step by step through their cloud journey and offering expert advice on migration and modernisation strategies. By combining deep knowledge of major cloud platforms and endpoint services you will help customers achieve a seamless, secure and productive cloud experience tailored to their specific enterprise requirements whether using Microsoft Azure or other leading cloud technologies.
You’ll act as the technical lead in the sales cycle, translating business requirements into solutions that enable secure collaboration, hybrid work and innovation. Working closely with engineering to ensure smooth transition into delivery and work closely with the Cloud Practice to align to latest products, services and cloud capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Lead customer discovery workshops to capture business goals, requirements, needs and outcomes and capture the current estate and cloud transformation objectives.
Solutioning
Design secure, scalable architectures across Azure IaaS and PaaS including networking, storage, identity, hybrid connectivity and landing zones.
Develop migration strategies from on‑premises and VMware estates to Azure covering workloads, databases and applications.
Guide customers on licensing, cost optimisation and FinOps approaches to ensure commercial value.
Introduce customers to Azure innovations such as Arc, Virtual Desktop, Data Platform, DevOps practices, Backup & DR and emerging AI services.
Embed best practices for governance, compliance and security using Defender, Sentinel and Zero Trust principles.
Cross‑functional Delivery
Produce high‑quality proposals, SOWs, RFP responses and architecture documentation.
Deliver presentations, demos and assessments to articulate technical designs and business value.
Work closely in handover with Delivery & PMO teams to ensure solutions are implemented seamlessly.
Track the Microsoft roadmap, licensing changes and emerging technologies to advise customers proactively.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in pre‑sales or solution architecture within an Azure consultancy or MSP.
Deep technical knowledge of Microsoft Azure services (compute, networking, identity, storage, security, hybrid).
Experience with cloud migration strategies, 6 Rs, Cloud Adoption Framework and Well‑Architected Framework.
Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Modern Workplace (Teams, Intune, Viva, Purview, Copilot).
Strong commercial awareness able to support licensing pricing and ROI modelling.
Excellent communication and presentation skills for C‑suite business and technical audiences.
Demonstrated ability to lead discovery workshops, build proposals and validate solutions across multiple opportunities.

Knowledge of ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials, NIST or CIS‑aligned security controls in cloud contexts
