Join our fast-paced team as a Picker/Packer in Fort Worth, Texas! In this role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently picking customer orders and preparing them for shipment. This position is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring that our customers receive their products correctly and on time. You will work within our warehouse environment, utilizing scanning equipment and following specific picking lists. Attention to detail and speed are crucial. Maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to all safety guidelines, including the proper use of PPE and safe Lifting techniques, is paramount. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order specifications.
- Scan items to ensure order accuracy and update inventory systems.
- Pack picked items securely for shipping, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages accurately for transit.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station and surrounding area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper PPE usage.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
- Practice safe Lifting techniques to prevent injury.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics process.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse environment is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand order picking lists and labels.
- Basic math skills for inventory verification.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Willingness to follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE .
